General insurance – Chief Actuary Forum

Application closing date: none – ongoing vacancy

This interactive forum is open to company, Lloyd’s Syndicates, and non-Lloyd’s chief actuaries. It is not restricted to UK actuaries.

The main objectives of the forum are to:

  • encourage discussions on current issues affecting your actuarial teams: these sessions will be interactive and allow attendees to voice opinions and raise areas for the wider group to discuss
  • promote collaboration through the forum and IFoA’s General Insurance Board (for example, the board could incorporate discussions into wider strategy and encourage working parties to investigate further)

Time commitment

Meetings will be held once a quarter. We ask members to make every effort to attend these meetings.

There is no requirement to meet in person as meetings will be held by conference call to allow us to widen this opportunity to all members. Meetings are likely to follow UK working hours.
