Global Student Consultative Forums

What are the Global Student Consultative Forums?

Our student forums are discussion groups, designed to give our students a direct channel of communication and the opportunity to feedback to the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

What do the Global Student Consultative Forums (GSCF) do?

There are six student forums around the globe:

  • Americas
  • Europe
  • Africa and the Middle East
  • East Asia
  • South Asia
  • Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand

The forums meet twice a year, around six weeks after the April and September exam sessions to discuss issues of concern from our students, and to receive updates and information on developments in the education strategy and the services we provide.

The forums are chaired by a Lead Student Rep - a student from that particular region-and the membership comprises of a number of other Student Reps who represent particular groups of students.

We want to encourage you to interact with us on topics such as our education strategy, tuition, exams, and other related topics. Discussions at the meetings often include questions about the exam content, pass marks and logistical arrangements.

Who should I contact?

International students should contact their local representative or the Member Services Team below.

The Global forum membership, representing students from the different regions, includes:
