The charge against Mr Hudson relates to posting a number of ‘tweets’ and ‘retweets’ on the Twitter social media platform which are alleged to be offensive. The conduct is alleged to be in breach of the Integrity and Communication Principles of the Actuaries’ Code (Version 3.0) and, if established, to constitute misconduct.

The charge against Mr Lee relates to posting a number of ‘tweets’ and ‘retweets’ on the social media platform, Twitter, regarding a specific religion. The language used was alleged to be, amongst other matters: offensive and/or inflammatory; in breach of the Integrity Principle of the Actuaries’ Code (Version 3.0); and, if established, to constitute misconduct.
