The IFoA have published draft guidance for acting as the auditor’s expert in UK insurance audits.
In response to your feedback on proposals for a revised Actuarial Professional Standard (APS) L1 and to better support actuaries acting as auditor’s experts, the IFoA has developed guidance for acting as the auditor’s expert in UK insurance audits.
We would like to hear views, especially from actuaries acting as an auditor’s expert, on whether the draft guidance is helpful and whether there are any improvements we can make.
