Regulatory Board annual report published

3 November 2023

The IFoA Regulatory Board has now published its annual report for 2022 to 2023.

The Regulatory Board is responsible for the IFoA’s regulatory strategy. Its purpose is to ensure public confidence in actuaries and their work.

The report reflects on a year of significant progress, including the launch of a new practising certificate regime, the completion of two thematic reviews, and a consultation on proposals to formalise diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in our regulatory framework.

The annual report also sets out the Regulatory Board’s priorities for the year ahead. These include further engagement with members on DEI, the introduction of a new professional support service, and the continued support of members in managing the risks associated with areas of rapid development.
