Financial reporting

The Financial Reporting Group supports the IFoA in the formulation and delivery of the IFoA’s opinion on accounting and financial reporting matters. It does so through consultation responses or wider engagement with stakeholders.

It also provides thought leadership in accounting and financial reporting issues affecting the relevant IFoA practice areas, for the UK and internationally.

The group has a primary focus on providing the IFoA’s input to the work of the International Actuarial Association (IAA) on IFRS17, including the work of the IAA’s Insurance Accounting Committee.
