Life Conference Organising Committee 2025 – members

Application closing date: 15 December

Do you work in the life practice area, particularly in a life office, and have excellent awareness of the current issues? Would you like to help influence the topics and speakers selected for the 2025 conference and to shape this premiere event?

The committee is seeking to appoint members to help deliver an exciting and thought-provoking programme. You will be proactive, innovative and able to commit approximately two hours per week from mid-April to mid-May. You will be reviewing content submissions received via a call for speakers and scheduling these into a programme format, which will be reviewed by the Lifelong Learning Sub-committee (Life).

We are also particularly keen to hear from applicants who have international experience, protection health and care experience, and/or have previously volunteered for a similar role with the IFoA.

Benefits of joining the committee include:

  • an opportunity to influence the technical content of the conference
  • a chance to broaden your network
  • the opportunity to increase your awareness of current industry topics and issues
  • a chance to expand your current skills by chairing (or learning to chair) a plenary session at the conference.
