The IFoA is now accepting applications for qualification recognition under the Actuarial Association of Europe mutual recognition agreement (AAE MRA).

How to apply for recognition with the IFoA under the AAE MRA

To apply:

• please read the notes accompanying the application form (DOCX, 50 KB)
• complete the application form (DOCX, 50 KB)
• send the application form and required supporting documentation below to memberservices@actuaries.org.uk 

You can send us digital copies of your signed application form and relevant documents.

Required supporting documentation 

You must include the following with your application:

• a recent letter from your actuarial body confirming your membership status, that you are a member in good standing (including a compliant CPD record) and that you have no adverse disciplinary findings against you. In the event of any disciplinary findings, full details will need to be provided.
• a recent letter from your current employer confirming your length of employment
• proof of higher education (university) and professional qualifications
• proof of attendance at a professionalism course (if attended)
