IFoA India Conference 2026 – Conference Committee – Chair and members

Application closing date: 8 March

The IFoA is seeking to appoint a Chair and members to join the Content Committee for IFoA India Conference 2026, which is being held in New Delhi in early December (exact dates TBC).

The goal is to produce an informative, relevant, and exciting cross-practice actuarial conference for our members, non-members, industry specialists and stakeholders based in India.

Who are we looking for? 

We are seeking proactive, innovative and enthusiastic IFoA members to join the committee, to work in partnership with IFoA executives and help to source and shape the content of the conference.

The roles:

• Conference Chair (1 opportunity)
• Committee members (9 opportunities)

Location is not a barrier to applying. We accept applications from all as long as you have knowledge of the Indian market and have an excellent awareness of relevant trending topics/topics of interest, particularly in the prominent practice areas for the geographical location of the conference, but not limited to: 

• AI / data and technology
• Climate change / environment, sustainability and governance (ESG)
• Cross practice areas: finance, investment and banking, risks
• General insurance
• Health and care
• Life insurance and pensions 

Travel expenses to the conference will not be included.

Time commitment

You will be expected to actively participate in monthly meetings with the conference committee and the IFoA executive. By volunteering you will be helping to shape and create a major actuarial conference.
