CILA - Solvency 2.1: A Q&A Session on the Proposals for Reform

Fri 27 May 2022 -
09:00 - 10:00

For the expert and the newcomer alike, this session will cover the much anticipated HM Treasury consultation on the review of Solvency II in the form of a question and answer session with speakers who have closely studied the details of the proposed reforms.

Anthony Plotnek, WTW, and Xavier Solano, ABI, will answer questions from our chair, Kenny McIvor, on the following:

  • What is in the consultation from Treasury?
  • What are the key objectives of the review?
  • How are the proposals being received by industry
  • What are the anticipated outcomes … who are the winners and the losers?
  • What are the next steps in the process?
  • Where does the industry go from here?

We look forward to what promises to be an informative, open and interesting discussion.
