Actuarial careers can be personally rewarding, in multiple ways. If you also want to:

  • Build career and leadership skills while learning from others
  • Serve your community and make a difference
  • Stand out and get ahead
  • Explore a portfolio career

please join us for this webinar with Fiona Hathorn, CEO of WB NexGen Directors.

Fiona will share some of the latest thinking to help increase your chances of winning 'stretch' promotions. She'll explore why adding a board or committee appointment to your CV is an excellent way to draw attention to, and validate, your capabilities.

Individuals who join boards, even of very small organisations, are able to use their experience and skills to influence an organisation. At the same time, they gain:

  • Exposure to governance
  • Access to a wide range of other issues
  • A broader outlook and business network
  • Satisfaction from helping the company through community outreach and engagement.

Fiona will outline the top seven reasons why being a director will benefit your career and will also explore your questions.
