Certified Actuarial Analyst

The Certified Actuarial Analyst (CAA) is an internationally recognised technical and professional analyst qualification.

Certified Actuarial Analyst carries the designation of CAA.  As a CAA, you are qualified at an analyst level and equipped with the critical data skills that modern businesses need to compete in complex, global markets.

CAA knowledge and skills 

CAA have been assessed on their knowledge and understanding of finance and financial mathematics, statistics and models, long-term and short-term actuarial mathematics and models and audit trails.

Certified Actuarial Analysts have a range of financial business, analytical and modelling skills, including: 

  • An understanding of finance and financial mathematics, statistics and actuarial mathematics
  • Effective manipulation and analysis of data sets
  • Experience using the modelling and calculations that underpin the determination of the premiums that need to be charged for financial products, schemes, contracts and more
  • Communicating financial concepts within the work environment.
