We are delighted to announce the winners of the inaugural IFoA Volunteer Recognition Awards.
In the First Time Volunteer category, the winner was Leigh Costanza, with Anoushka Kothari highly commended. The Member Impact award went to the Social Care Working Party, with Helena Ingram highly commended. In the Team Excellence category, the winner was the CMI Mortality Projections Committee, while the Scottish Board and the Women Actuaries Community Committee were highly commended. Clara Hughes was named Volunteer of the Year, with Charchit Agrawal highly commended.
The awards were announced on 11 February at the IFoA Volunteer Recognition Awards event at Staple Inn. CEO Paul Lewis delivered the opening remarks, and IFoA President Paul Sweeting provided the welcome address and closing comments.
With more than 3,000 volunteers worldwide, this vibrant community contributes invaluable time and expertise, helping ensure the actuarial profession remains sustainable, influential and highly respected.
