Application closing date: 6 March
We are holding the next IFoA Asia Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in early October 2026. The conference aims to be a cross-practice forum for actuaries, industry specialists, stakeholders, and other professionals across Asia.
We are seeking to appoint proactive and innovative Technical Content Committee members. We welcome applications from IFoA Fellows or Associates. However, we aim to capture a diverse range of perspectives, so a place on the committee may also be offered to a student member or a lay (non-member) who can demonstrate relevant experience and valuable ideas on technical content.
The Technical Content Committee is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering the technical programme alongside the Technical Content Chairs and Conference Chair for the IFoA Asia Conference 2026. The committee ensures the technical sessions are insightful, innovative, and aligned with the conference’s goals, catering to the needs of the diverse actuarial community in the region.
The time commitment is equivalent to 2 working days per month, including following up on actions to meet event schedule deadlines.
There will be a maximum of 8 meetings via conference call. All members of the committee are expected to attend every meeting.
The first meeting is scheduled for March 2026, and will be attended by representatives from the IFoA Southeast Asia Team, Events Team, and the Conference Chair.
