Health and Care Research Sub-committee – Deputy Chair and members

The Health and Care Research Sub-committee is seeking to recruit a Deputy Chair and members. The sub-committee is keen to have a diverse mix of skill sets represented and would encourage anyone with experience in this area to apply.

We are seeking applicants who are enthusiastic, proactive and innovative with expertise in health insurance, health research, healthcare or related fields to help drive the development of actuarial practice and research in the health and care area.

The sub-committee oversees around eight working parties undertaking research in areas of relevance for actuarial practitioners and in the public interest.

Time commitment

The time commitment varies but will not be more than a maximum of two hours per month. The sub-committee will consist of quarterly meetings with more regular meeting as required.
