IFoA Volunteer Recognition: nomination

Nominate an IFoA volunteer for outstanding contribution

More than 3,000 volunteers around the world freely give their time and expertise to the IFoA.

Their input helps make sure the actuarial profession remains sustainable, influential and sought after, both as a career and as a source of insight.  They’re an invaluable part of our work and of the wider actuarial community.

That’s why we’re delighted to announce a new annual celebration of our volunteers, as part of which we’ll be recognising outstanding contributions.

Recognition

We’ve identified four categories for this inaugural event:

  • Team Excellence Award
  • First Time Volunteer Award
  • Member Impact Award
  • Volunteer of the Year Award

Judging

Award entries will be assessed by a member panel. Each entry will have to show that the volunteer has met the criteria specific to the award for which they’re nominated.

Shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend the IFoA Volunteer Recognition event on 11 February at Staple Inn, either in person or via live link.

At the event we will announce the awards and celebrate all the incredible contributions being made around the world.

How to nominate

Anyone who works with or alongside one of our exceptional volunteers can nominate them for recognition. Volunteers are also welcome to nominate themselves.

Just go to the nomination form and fill in the details requested, giving as much detail as you can, and our judging panel will do the rest.
