This webinar will look at LDI investment in the UK following changes to the market environment since Kwasi Kwarteng’s mini budget in September 2022.
There will be 2 perspectives. One of an investment advisor (Richard Lunt, Hymans) and another from the point of view of a fund manager offering LDI approaches (Robert Pace, LGIM).
Richard will provide an overview of the UK economy as relevant background to the 2022 market turbulence. He will comment on the role of LDI within investment portfolio in 2024.
Rob will go on to talk about the LDI market from the point of view of a fund manager and explain how LGIM’s LDI offering has evolved over the 18 months.
