CPD co-ordinators

Would you like to support your colleagues by keeping them informed of the latest IFoA updates and CPD opportunities?

The IFoA is seeking engaged, proactive, and innovative volunteers to register as a CPD co-ordinator for their organisation. CPD co-ordinators act as a point of contact between the IFoA and actuaries and volunteer to keep their colleagues updated with IFoA developments, CPD requirements.

 

What will I do?

  • Remind your colleagues of key dates, deadlines and CPD requirements
  • Raise awareness of the various CPD and RPD opportunities and resources available
    feedback any questions or comments your colleagues may have about CPD or reflective practice discussions (RPD)
  • Share best practice findings with other CPD co-ordinators on the IFoA communities platform

 

What support will I receive?

  • A dedicated news update will be provided every two months to be disseminated to your colleagues. 
  • An invitation to attend the CPD webinars that are held bi-annually
  • Access to a dedicated CPD co-ordinator area on the IFoA communities platform to view updates and communicate with other CPD co-ordinators

This opportunity is open to both IFoA members and non-members; location is not a barrier.

 

Time commitment

Time commitment is variable, however we estimate approximately 2 hours per month. You can make the role your own.

 

Tenure

You can step down at any time. 

 

Communication

To facilitate communication, with your permission we will share your business contact details with other CPD co-ordinators in your organisation (as applicable), so that you can connect on issues of interest and practical matters to do with your role.
