This webinar introduces value-based care (VBC) and what it means for actuaries working in health and insurance. It will explain how VBC differs from traditional fee-for-service models and why it is gaining traction.
It will then focus on the actuarial role in measuring outcomes, managing risk and incentives, and using data and analytics to conceptualise and arbitrate contracts.
Attendees will gain a practical overview of how actuarial skills can support the design and evaluation of value-based care models with some case studies.
