We have become aware of allegations, made anonymously on online forums, falsely stating that the IFoA has settled discrimination claims brought by two female members, paying out materially more than one million pounds.
For the avoidance of any doubt, these allegations are untrue and have no basis.
The allegations are defamatory and in the interests of protecting the reputation of our members, our profession, and our organisation we will consider taking appropriate action against anyone who continues to make or share these statements.
