There will be a short presentation from members of the panel on the social care systems from selective countries around the world. Followed by a panel discussion covering the following questions:

• Is there a country the panel can point to as leading the way in terms of social care policy?
• Most countries around the world have an ageing society: what does this mean for how social care policy needs to adapt?
• What role does the panel think technology can play in making social care more affordable?
• What are the immediate priorities for the UK and other countries in terms of social care reform?
