IFoA Council elections

Council elections are open from 4 June to 7 July 2026.

The election is now open for the vacant seats on the IFoA’s Council for the General constituency.

General constituency members will receive an email with details of how to vote.

There will not be a contested election in the Scottish constituency this year as only one candidate – Christopher Martis – stood for the one vacant seat. Scottish Constituency members will be invited to vote on the AGM resolutions.

There is no election for Honorary Fellows this year.

How to cast your vote 

All Fellows, Honorary Fellows, and Associates of the IFoA are eligible to vote in the Council elections in the constituency they are a member of.

Voting takes place via a dedicated election website hosted by our election services provider. When it is election time, our provider will email you with the details of how to cast your vote.

Voting closes at 14:00 BST on Tuesday 7 July 2026. 

The results of the election will be announced at our Annual General Meeting on 9 July 2026.
