Voting is underway to elect new members to vacant seats on the IFoA's Council.
Council advocates for all IFoA members, amplifying the voice of actuaries and continually working to enhance the experience for our members. IFoA Council Members’ role is to ensure the IFoA’s future direction reflects what members want and need, and addresses the demands and evolution of the actuarial profession.
Council members are elected from all over the world. Membership of IFoA Council is an important role, with stewardship responsibilities that require strong governance, leadership, and accountability skills.
There are 15 candidates standing for election, contesting nine vacant General constituency seats.
Eligible IFoA members can cast their vote before 14:00 BST on Tuesday 7 July 2026.
The results of the election will be announced at the IFoA’s Annual General Meeting, which will take place at 09.00 BST on Thursday 9 July 2026.
