The IFoA has launched a new thematic review exploring how actuarial advice is evolving in response to the new pensions funding regime and wider developments across the pensions landscape.
As part of the review, IFoA members are invited to complete a short snapshot survey sharing their experiences of working in the new funding environment. The survey is open to individuals providing funding advice to UK pension scheme trustees and should take less than five minutes to complete.
The review is also seeking submissions from organisations, focusing on examples of funding advice provided to UK defined benefit pension scheme trustees. Findings will help the IFoA understand how actuarial approaches are evolving and identify emerging themes and good practice across the profession.
Both the snapshot survey and organisational submissions are open until 31 October 2026.
