Honorary Officers and the Chief Executive Officer of the IFoA

President of the IFoA

Under the IFoA’s governing documents (specifically Bye-laws 1 and 2, and regulations 2 to 8), Council decides who serves as the Honorary Officers of the IFoA. For the session 2025-26 our Honorary Officer is the President. The President acts as Chair of Council. Every second year, Council elects a President-elect who serves in that role for one year before succeeding as President.

The President of the IFoA is a volunteer role held by a Fellow or Associate of the IFoA. The commitment for this role is three years (one year as President-elect, and two years as President).

You can contact our President at presidents@actuaries.org.uk
